We all know that the bathroom is about so much more than flushing and flossing, because in order for it to appear neat and welcoming (like any other room in the home), a certain amount of storage areas need to be included.

Fortunately, there are other ways of storing those toothbrushes, soaps and other bathroom goodies than a simply vanity – not that there’s anything wrong with a beautiful vanity, it’s just that there’s not always room to fit in the one you’d like to!

So, let’s see how to make child’s play of storage spaces while still retaining a clean and elegant look for the modern-day bathroom…

1. Wall niches are nice for vases, sure, but don’t overlook how they can help out with neatly displaying an array of bathroom goodies and accessories.

2. These slim-style cabinets don’t take up a lot of space, yet make a big difference in keeping towels, shampoos, and goodness-knows-what-else out of sight.

3. All you need for towels is a bit of space between the sink and vanity, as these splendid designs show us!

4. A seating bench with built-in storage? We just love double-duty designs, don’t you? Plus it adds potential for more colour, fabrics, patterns, etc.

5. Not enough legroom for cabinetries? Why not build an alcove directly into the wall?

6. Behind those swinging doors awaits an entire collection of drawers to neatly separate each member’s bathroom necessities!
