Attics possess a distinct charm. As spaces sitting directly beneath sloped roofs and typically storing all your excess or unsightly stuff, attics can be maximized to accommodate furnishings coupled with the right styling. Depending on their sizes, these spaces can even become full-fledged homes. Others which are smaller can even be rented spaces or maybe something which you can later pass on to your eldest child. Find inspiration in this dainty nest that yesHome in Italy renovated.

Chic attic

Polished in elegant white to taupe, this space uses the visible roof framework as a texture to contrast the smooth walls with the exception of the dining area which we will expound on later. This semi-whitewashed floor softens the color transition to the taupe couches. The entire living area somehow exudes a Mediterranean vibe and we're loving the hints of green. On the other hand, the fireplace is of course not necessary in a tropical country like the Philippines, so that spot could instead have wall-mounted shelves in the same shade as the wall and carry ornaments or books, perhaps both.

Fine dining

The stone wall in this side near the dining area is the perfect solution to an otherwise dull all-white space. Its colors are within a nice neutral palette and they bridge the walls to this equally lovely dining set. Other than that, the stone wall against the white wooden ceiling plus wooden floor is just a to-die-for combination. On a side note, the glass doors here are brilliantly situated since they allow light in to the dining area.

Bright and spacious-looking

Like the dining area, the kitchen is also well-lighted and that helps in cooking plus saving on energy costs. Meanwhile, the white backsplash tiles go wonderfully with the glossy overhead cabinets. We like that the designers chose a darker brown pair with the white plus how the kitchen essentials are tucked in a neat elongated row which makes this small space appear longer.

Stone walled hallway

An unassuming hallway leads to the bedroom from the living area. This view particularly highlights how the walls aren't coated in white but that they are more on the beige color. Now the hallway here is also lined, like the dining area wall, with stones. With yellow lights hitting against them, the hallway looks straight out of a fancy building's interior.

Simply elegant

In a simple white with wooden elements, the bathroom captures a minimalist bathroom style. The ceramic platter sink is also a cool choice since it appears like a dish platter left on wooden kitchen countertop.

Resort ambiance

Appearing like a resort's bedroom, this one channels understated luxury with its minimal elements. What catches our eyes are those warm yellow lights and the subtly printed headboard of the bed. To keep things interesting, throwing in a bold color like this bluegreen is also brilliant and it matches the side table too!
