Wooden Popsicle – as the name suggests, these are handmade wooden popsicles, minimal
design sculptures with a retro Pop-Art appeal.Johnny Hermann's creative intuition is driven by
craftmanship knowledge and a passion for design. The project is backed by painstaking research
and a deep aesthetic sense of reinterpreting materials and manipulating their use and
re-use. He re-creates the vibrant, colorful magic of summer ices in objects of design, recalling
one of the sweetest and most nostalgic treasures of our past. Childhood memories and fresh
emotions are fused in the shape and materials of these creations. Wood, colours and lines give
life to these objects – unusual, rather strange and totally original.
Each Wooden Popsicle is a unique and numbered piece.
Every series is made up of 150 pieces.
