A side extension and refurbishment of a detached house located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The brief was to create a modern design that was sympathetic to the sensitive setting and optimized the panoramic views.

The existing ground floor layout was reconfigured to provide an open plan living area with a new entrance hall and bespoke windows and timber staircase.

Additional bathrooms were created on the upper floor.
