ETERNAL

LUXURY

Roman Penthouse, the most exclusive suite situated right in the heart of the Dolce Vita in the Regina Hotel Baglioni Roma. The brand new Top Suite of Regina Hotel Baglioni has finally been revealed to the public. The most exclusive apartment right in the heart of the world renowned “Dolce Vita” offers the opportunity to see Rome under a new light and offers real exclusivity to its guests.

Situated on the eighth and last floor of the hotel, the “Roman Penthouse” spans a surface area of 560 square meters, including private terraces covering 290 square meters, 1 suite, 2 bedrooms, dining room area, living rooms, kitchen and private bars. All of which have been designed in order to give the most incredible 360° view over the Eternal City, from the Sistine Chapel to the Colosseum and well beyond.

The suite is characterized by an innovative conception of modular spaces, designed by the Milanese architectural and design firm, Rebosio+Spagnulo, experts in the tailor made approach to interior design.

First and foremost designing a space means understanding where it is located. This may seem obvious but the analysis of the cultural aspects as well as the stylistic and morphological features of a place is, or should be, the first authentic tile in an Architecture or Interior project. In this sense, the complexity and the richness offered by the large cities of art, are an almost inexhaustible source of reference in forms and shapes as well as in content, which if interpreted in the right way are the conceptual framework around which to design a place or setting.

The suite situated on the last floor of Hotel Regina Baglioni in Rome is one of these frontiers, where innovative design joins forces with the culture of the past. An almost physical encounter which reveals itself in a sensory way thanks to its complete vision of the historical centre, its baroque and mannerist testimonies, of the monuments which have marked the history of western architecture. This energy/dynamism between modernity and tradition is the key element which permeates the Interior Design project horizontally. On one side the contemporary design of spatial geometries, the flexible use of partitions between the different living spaces, the rigorous modernity in the choice of indirect illumination and in the design of some furniture, on the other side the use of wood panelling on the walls, some decorative archetypes in marble floors, opulent fabrics and blown crystal which instead evoke the most refined traditional Italian styles.

These apparent contradictions are transformed into harmonies and determine a brand new character in which univocal style is replaced with the value of complexity and contamination: a new idea of modern luxury

The “custom made” concept is essential and in this suite achieves its greatest expression through the planning of details, the choice of materials and the attention to finishing.

The splendid Murano glass chandeliers designed by Vistosi and the majestic chandelier in the master bedroom, in blown glass, and modelled by hand by LU Murano, Venetian Masters since 1963. Complex marquetry in the marble flooring reinterpreted in a modern way, wood panelling and glass as well as fine silks refer back to times of tradition but within a project which inspires contemporaneity.

Italian Design becomes the bond between an intellectual project and artisan execution, luxury is no longer merely ostentation of wealth and fleeting consumerism but is the signature of artisans and professionals following the “Italian Way”.

These two figures have been the main protagonists of two out of the four videos used in the innovative campaign to launch the Roman Penthouse, shot in the architectural and design firm’s offices as well as in Vistosi’s glassworks. The videos are a progressive invitation to up-date and reflect upon conceptions regarding one’s own ideas about splendour, design, perfection and panorama.

Guests can enjoy a real pampering experience taking advantage of the exclusive and unique services including Jacuzzi’s featuring Kos chromo therapy, an external Technogym equipped gym, butler services, private chef (3 hours a day), private barman (2 hours a day), dedicated concierge and a limousine service (4 hours a day).
