The cooperation with the avant-garde of the Wiener Werkstätte (Viennese Workshops), such as Josef Hoffmann and Kolo Moser, defined the path the company would follow from 1900 onwards. Today it is our cooperation with internationally known artists and designers of the present time that determines the extraordinary and diverse product range of Wiener Silber Manufactur.
The products are made of an alloy recently developed and processed exclusively for the Wiener Silber Manufactur, which has a 940/000 silver content and is more valuable than sterling silver. The higher proportion of silver is an indication of both the maximum material worth of the silverware and its greater resistance to tarnishing. The entire collection of cutlery sets, silver tableware such as tea sets, candlesticks, also gifts and mementos for special occasions like christenings or weddings, and above all, the bespoke items are all meticulously handcrafted in Vienna.
